Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the current version of BabyTime handles information in the BabyTime iPhone app and on the BabyTime website.
Information in BabyTime
BabyTime lets an adult parent or caregiver create and manage information such as:
- A baby's profile details, including name, birthday, birth information, weight, and profile photo.
- Care logs for feeding, bottles, sleep, diapers, pumping, medicine, activities, mood, weight, notes, and attached photos.
- Appointments, appointment checklists, milestones, memories, and shopping items.
- App preferences such as time format and local feeding-reminder settings.
You decide what to enter. BabyTime does not require an account for the current app experience.
Storage and processing
The current app stores its working data, media, and recovery backups locally in BabyTime's private Application Support area on your iPhone. App preferences are also stored locally on the device.
The current app does not upload your BabyTime care record to a BabyTime server, and the code does not include a third-party analytics or advertising service.
If a future version adds optional cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or another material data practice, this policy will be updated before or when that feature becomes available.
Device permissions
BabyTime may request or use limited iOS features when you choose a related action:
- Camera and photos: used when you take or select a photo for a profile, care entry, or memory. Apple's system controls the access you grant.
- Notifications: used to schedule optional feeding reminders locally on your device. You can turn reminders off in BabyTime or change notification access in iOS Settings.
BabyTime does not use these permissions for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Website and email
BabyTime does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral analytics cookies on its website. Hosting and content-delivery providers may process routine technical information, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and secure the site.
If you contact Support@danieldoesinter.net or join the waitlist by email, the email address and information you send are processed by the applicable email providers and used to respond, provide requested updates, and maintain the conversation.
Please do not send urgent medical information or highly sensitive care records by ordinary email.
Retention and your control
Active app data remains on the device until you delete individual content, use the app's erase controls, or remove the app. BabyTime may keep a limited number of local recovery backups before an import or erase operation so accidental loss can be recovered. Those backups remain within the app's private local storage and are removed when the app and its data are removed from the device.
You can also create your own export and decide where it is retained. Deleting data from BabyTime does not delete copies you previously exported or shared.
For website email or waitlist requests, contact us to ask for access, correction, or deletion of information you provided directly to BabyTime, subject to applicable law and records we may need to retain.
Children's privacy
BabyTime is intended for use by adults, parents, and caregivers. It is not directed to children, and BabyTime does not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly.
Information about a baby or child is entered and controlled by the adult caregiver using the app. Caregivers should share exports and photos only with people and services they trust.
Security
Keeping the primary care record on the device limits routine transmission of sensitive information. BabyTime also relies on protections provided by iOS and the security settings on your device.
No storage method is completely secure. Use a device passcode, keep iOS updated, protect exported files, and avoid sharing sensitive data through destinations you do not trust.
Medical disclaimer
It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or emergency assistance, and it is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of information shown in BabyTime. For an emergency or an urgent concern about a baby or caregiver, contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional immediately.
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as BabyTime changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and, when appropriate, communicated in the app or website.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to Support@danieldoesinter.net.
