Accessibility Statement
Battle Type is fast, bright, and arcade-forward, but the experience should still be usable, readable, and adjustable wherever practical.
Our Goal
We aim to make the Battle Type app and website usable, readable, and adjustable where practical. The website targets WCAG 2.2 AA where practical, and accessibility work will continue as the product evolves.
Website Support
- Pages use semantic headings, landmarks, and visible focus styles.
- Navigation and links are intended to work with a keyboard.
- Mobile layouts are checked for horizontal overflow and readable line lengths.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected for major animation timing where practical.
Game Considerations
The iPhone app uses a dark interface and honors the iOS Reduce Motion setting to limit nonessential animation.
Battle Type is based on typing speed, accuracy, visual feedback, and timed challenge loops. Some competitive or real-time mechanics still depend on rapid input, timing, and visual state changes.
Known Limitations
- Version 1.0 does not currently claim complete support for VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, or sufficient contrast; these features still need dedicated accessibility testing.
- Some app and promotional visuals use neon glow, animated particles, and arcade-style text.
- Apple platform interfaces, including Game Center and the App Store, are outside our direct control.
Feedback
If you run into an accessibility barrier, send the screen, page, or feature involved, your device and iOS or browser version, any assistive technology used, and a short description of the issue.
