Privacy Policy

Battle Type is an arcade typing game built around speed, accuracy, duels, ghosts, records, and badge progression. This policy explains how the iPhone app, website, and support channel handle information in version 1.0.

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Version 1.0 Privacy Summary

Battle Type does not require an app-specific account and does not include advertising, in-app purchases, analytics, or tracking in version 1.0.

Profiles, match history, records, badges, settings, and saved ghost runs stay on the device. Gameplay passages are bundled with the app and do not require an external content service.

Information And Device Data

  • App data: Battle Type does not send profiles, match history, records, badges, settings, or ghost runs to Daniel Does Inter. This information is stored locally on the device.
  • Game Center: online matchmaking and optional score or achievement sharing use Apple Game Center. Apple processes Game Center information under Apple's terms and privacy policies.
  • Nearby battles: nearby play uses encrypted peer-to-peer communication on the local network. Player display names and live match state are exchanged only as needed to run the nearby match.
  • Support email: if you contact support@danieldoesinter.net, we receive the email address and details you choose to send.
  • Website delivery: hosting providers may process standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time to keep the site available and secure.

How We Use Information

We use support messages to answer questions, troubleshoot issues, understand accessibility or privacy concerns, and improve Battle Type. Technical website data is used to operate and protect the site.

We do not sell personal information, use app data for advertising, or use support emails for targeted advertising.

Sharing

Apple provides Game Center services, while website hosting and email providers support the website and support channel. These providers process information under their own terms and only as needed to provide their services.

Nearby match data is exchanged directly between participating devices and is not routed through a Daniel Does Inter server. We may disclose support information if required by law or needed to protect rights and safety.

Retention And Security

Local app data remains on the device until it is removed through normal device or app-deletion controls. Deleting Battle Type removes its locally stored app data. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably useful for support and recordkeeping. No system is perfectly secure, but reasonable safeguards are used for the services we operate.

Children

Battle Type is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through support, contact us and we will review the request.

Choices And Requests

You can remove locally stored Battle Type data by deleting the app from the device. You can also contact us to ask about privacy, request deletion of a support message, or raise a concern. We may need enough information to locate the relevant message.

Changes

We may update this policy when Battle Type features or privacy practices change. The effective date will change when the policy is revised.
