1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to the ShoPro iOS application, the ShoPro marketing website, and support communications operated by danieldoesinter.net Ltd. (“ShoPro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It describes the current local-first version of ShoPro.

2. Information stored by the app

ShoPro lets you create and manage a personal grocery notebook. Depending on how you use the app, this can include:

• Product names, brands, categories, measurements, notes, favorites, ratings, and shopping-list status.
• Prices, store names, dates, cities, optional street details, and your own contributor label.
• Optional product, shelf-tag, or receipt photos selected from your library or captured with the camera.
• Optional location coordinates used to tag a price entry with a nearby city or store location.
• Reward points, levels, badge progress, currency, region, and app preferences.

In the current version, this information is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage technologies. ShoPro does not require an account and does not operate a server that receives this grocery notebook data.

3. Optional permissions

Location

If you choose to use automatic location tagging, ShoPro requests location access while you use the app. The location may be used to suggest city and address information for the entry you are creating. Apple system services may process a location request or reverse-geocoding request under Apple’s own terms. You can deny or revoke access in iOS Settings and enter store information manually.

Camera and photo library

If you choose to attach a product, price-tag, or receipt image, ShoPro requests the relevant camera or photo-library access. Selected images are stored with your local app data. You control whether to attach an image and can remove it by editing or deleting the relevant content.

4. Backups and data portability

ShoPro can create a user-controlled .shopro backup package containing app records and associated images. Exporting a backup makes a copy available through the destination you select in Apple’s share interface. ShoPro does not automatically upload or retain that backup.

You are responsible for protecting exported files and choosing where they are stored or shared. Restoring in merge mode keeps current records while adding or updating backup content. Restoring in replace mode deletes current ShoPro data on the device before loading the backup.

5. Website information

The ShoPro website is a static informational site. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics SDKs, cross-site tracking, or a server-side beta signup form.

• Theme preference: choosing light or dark mode stores a small setting named shopro-theme in your browser’s local storage.
• Hosting logs: the hosting provider may automatically process limited technical records such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser details, and error information for delivery, security, and reliability.
• Google Fonts: when fonts are loaded from Google, your browser connects to Google’s font servers. Google may receive technical request information, including your IP address, under its own privacy terms.
• Beta requests: the beta-access button opens your email application. The website itself does not capture the address or message.

6. Support communications

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, backup diagnostics, or a description of an issue. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect the service, and maintain relevant support records.

Please do not send passwords, payment data, or unredacted receipts containing information that is not needed for your request.

7. Sharing, selling, and advertising

We do not sell personal information. The current app does not include third-party advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking. We do not share your local grocery notebook with data brokers or advertisers.

Limited information may be handled by service providers needed to operate the website or email service, by Apple when you use Apple platform services, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse.

8. Retention and deletion

• On-device app data: retained until you edit it, delete it, reset ShoPro, or remove the app, subject to any device or iCloud backups managed by you and Apple.
• Exported backups: retained wherever you choose to save them until you delete them.
• Support email: retained only as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain support history, meet legal obligations, or protect the service.
• Hosting logs: retained according to the hosting provider’s security and operational schedule.

You can delete app records within ShoPro, use the app’s reset controls, or delete the app from your device. To request deletion of support correspondence or other information held by us, contact the address below.

9. Your choices and rights

You may decline optional permissions, revoke them in iOS Settings, manage or delete local content, export a backup, clear the website’s local storage, and contact us to ask about information we hold through support interactions.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the current service. Local-first storage reduces routine transmission, but no device, email system, website host, or storage method is completely secure. Protect your device, backups, and email account with appropriate access controls.

11. Children

ShoPro is a general-audience shopping utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current app or website. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent information to support may contact us to request deletion.

12. International services

Website hosting, Google Fonts, Apple services, or email providers may process limited information in countries outside your own. Their processing is governed by their respective safeguards and policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when ShoPro changes, legal requirements evolve, or new features are introduced. The revised page will show a new effective date. Material changes to data practices will be communicated in an appropriate way before they take effect.
